I want to purchase one of the proposed deals. What do I do?
Purchases can be made starting at 10am each Wednesday.
  1. Click the “Buy it now” button;
  2. Select the gift certificate(s) and follow the instructions.
How much does the delivery cost?
For each transaction, $5 will be charged for delivery
Who provides your delivery service?
Delivery is provided by Canada Post using Expedited Parcel.
Can I buy more than one gift certificate in a single transaction?
Yes. If you want to, you can buy a gift certificate from each vendor. You simply need to select as many as you wish.
I want to buy all the gift certificates from the same offer? Is it possible?
No. Purchases are limited to TWO gift certificate per offer per household per week.
I’ve done several transactions on the same day. Can they be combined into a single delivery?
No. The delivery charges are applied automatically to each transaction if your profile contains a delivery address. To save delivery charges, make sure to group all your purchases together in one transaction.
How long does the delivery take?
Your purchase(s) are mailed within 48 hours of your transaction. You will generally receive your purchase(s) within 7 business days. Please note: once your purchase(s) are mailed, we cannot be held responsible for delays on behalf of Canada Post.
What will the gift certificates I receive by mail look like?
You will receive a physical gift certificate or gift card, approved and issued by the participating merchants. The gift certificate will show the full value, never the price you paid.
I did not receive my purchases in the mail. What do I do?
You have 3 months after the date of your purchase to notify us that you have not yet received your purchases in the mail. At the end of this period, it is unfortunately no longer possible for us to track your delivery status with Canada Post. Should you fail to inform us of a purchase that has not been received within the period of 3 months after the date of purchase, all deliveries are marked as having been received and cannot be replaced, nor refunded.
Can I return a certificate?
All sales are final. No exchange or refund.
The vendor has gone out of business. Can I get a refund?
If a vendor goes out of business permanently, you may be eligible for reimbursement if the purchase was made within the past 12 months, and you have the certificate(s) in your possession. Please contact us for further details at info@astralradiodeals.com.
Is it true that your gift certificates don’t have an expiry date?
Province of Quebec: As of June 30, 2010, the Consumer Protection Act prohibits the use of expiry dates on prepaid gift certificates. This is why our gift certificates do not have expiry dates.
Rest of Canada: Only gift cards valid for a product or a particular service may expire. If the value is open, eg. a $50 gift card applicable on anything, it cannot expire..
What does “Come back soon” mean?
It means that all gift certificates are on hold, and in process of payment by other customers. If some transactions do not go through, the gift certificates will be re-offered online. As long as you don’t see “Sold out” there is still hope!
I logged in a few minutes after 10am, and the “Come back soon” or even “Sold out” icons are showing. How is this possible?
This is what happens when there is a limited quantity of certificates, and an unlimited amount of customers online. Unfortunately, some popular gift certificates may sell out in just a few minutes.
The first window shows that gift certificates are available, and next one indicates that they are not.
The first window is updated every 15 seconds, and our system is designed to operate on a first-come, first-served basis. So it’s possible that other customers' orders reached us before yours.
Can I create or change my profile?
You will be invited to create a profile while completing a transaction. Simply follow the instructions.
Can I use my username and password from another Astral site?
You must create a profile for each site as every site operates independently.
I’ve lost my username.
On your next transaction, when loging in, click I forgot my username and follow instructions.

When I click the “Buy it now” button, nothing happens, or a blank pop up window appears.
When clicking the “Buy it now” button, a pop up window showing the available gift certificates should appear. If you don’t see this window, try closing the blank pop up window, and click the “Buy it now” button again. If the content of the window still doesn’t appear, ensure that your browser is supported by, and that cookies are allowed. Also make sure that the “Block pop-up windows” command is turned off. If the problem persists, you should check your firewall’s parameters to allow the data.
When I click the “Buy it now” button, another window appears with a button that says “Buy now.” But when I click this button, nothing happens.
There may be a lag on your internet connection. After you’ve clicked the “Buy now” button, it may take a few seconds before the next window appears. If nothing happens after a few minutes, try closing the window and start over.
How can I be certain that my transaction was successful?
You will receive an email confirming your purchase. You should keep this email until you receive your gift certificate(s). If you don’t receive a confirmation, please refer to the questions on this FAQ concerning spam filters and firewalls.
I completed a transaction but I haven’t received any confirmation by email.
Make sure that the confirmation email is not in your “Junk” email folder and add us to your “Safe Senders” list; check that you correctly entered your email address, or make sure your internet service provider’s system hasn’t crashed. If you are still having problems, contact us at info@astralradiodeals.com.
When I clicked the “Complete my transaction” button, I received an “Error” message.
Due to heavy traffic on the Web, communication between the Internet service provider and the transaction servers can be lost. As a protective measure against fraud, when our system detects an irregularity, an error message appears on our pages. If you do not receive an email confirming a charge on your credit card, this means the transaction was not completed. (See Spam filter, Firewall, Corrupt messages.)
I completed a transaction, but then I received an email telling me that it was cancelled.
If you received an email with the message “VOIDED,” it’s possible that we weren’t able to confirm your CVV code with your credit card issuer. In that case, we were obliged to cancel the transaction.
I began a transaction, and came back to it later. I then received an email telling me my transaction was invalid.
If you leave an unfinished session open for too long and then decide later to finalize the transaction, the time limit may have been exceeded or the server has interpreted the transaction as fraudulent and closes. This is done in order to protect you. If this happens, the transaction is cancelled, you will not be charged because the transaction has not gone through. It is always preferable to complete your transaction as quickly as possible.
What browsers is Astralradiodeals.com compatible with?
In general, the site is compatible with the two latest versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari. We do not support Netscape or Google Chrome, but these browsers will work in most cases.
Does my browser have to accept cookies and pop-up windows?
Yes. Make sure you turn off the pop-up blocker system and set your browser to accept cookies.
Is your site secure?
All information concerning payments is analyzed via an encrypted secure banking portal.
